NVI's emergency plans can be summarized in two steps:
(i) Each plan takes 6–11 months for realization.
(ii) The duration is 2–11 months to achieve the sub-plan associated with its main proposal.
Priority #I: Clean Water (Sustainable Development Goal: SDG #6: Clean Water and Sanitation)
Conveying clean water from a craggy valley (a 45-minute walk) to 1,107 people in the village of Mugnyanga, located in the northeast, 182 miles from the district of Ngandajika in the Kasai,
• Budget required: $18,250
• Timing: 150 days.
• Clean and available water in MUGNYANGA improves the quality of life. It is the first step to preventing some pandemics.
Priority #2: Constructing a school in Mugyanga (SDG #4: Equality Education.)
• Location: District of Ngandajika, Province of Eastern Kasai, Congo
• Needed Budget: $50,000
• Timing: six months from receipt of funds
• Objective: fighting poverty through free education
• Purpose: Put 500 children in school each year.
• Target population: 2,000 individuals.
• 12 classrooms of 50 (fifty students each.)
• Nature of the plan: social investment ("SI") and related industries
• Form of Financing: endowment, donation, or grant
After 12 months, NVI invites you to come and take a look at it. See how it works.
Then, fund NVI to do the same thing for 2,000 families. When that works, we invite you back to take another look. Perhaps you can make an investment for 5,000 families or more.
DIRECT IMPACT:
1. With $50 donated (and if we reach the planned budget), you will help us finish the school within a period of six months.
2. Your money will help one child attend the school for one year.
3. Your money will help us hire and pay one teacher for one month.
4. Your money will generate 10 jobs.
PRIORITY #III: REBUILD THE MATERNITY AND THE PEDIATRICS SERVICE IN THE VILLAGE OF KALAMBAYI.
• Location: District of Ngadajika, Province of Eastern Kasai.
• Needed Budget: $400,000.
• Completion: 12 months after receipt of funds.
The mission of this hospital will be to provide a modern maternity service, fighting epidemics, malaria, tuberculosis, and typhoid. In Kalambayi, each month one woman and/or one new born die at delivery because of poor or no infrastructure at the hospital.
DIRECT IMPACT:
You contribution will reduce infant mortality, and provide new board, as well as reduce women deaths at delivery by 70 percent.
If you give $100.
Your money will be used as a contribution for restoring this maternity and the pediatric section of the hospital of Kalambayi.
• Your money will contribute to the needed budget for building a modern hospital with full service.
• A donation of $1,000 is what one person needs in Kalambayi village for having a full hospital service and facility during one year.
PRIORITY #IV: AGRICULTURE - SDG #1: No poverty. SDG #8: Decent work and economic growth. SDG #12: Responsible consumption and production.
NVI owns a piece of cultivable land equivalent to three thousand hectares in the province of Eastern Kasaï in the DRC.
We work with women cooperatives in planting different commodities like:
Palm oil, Cotton, Four types of beans, Maize, Peanuts, etc.
Our products grow without any fertilizer or pesticides. Samples of our raw coffee are available for your analysis. Our prices and conditions are competitive.
- Needed budget: $120,000.
- Timing: 90 days.
PRIOTITY #V: REBUILDING ROAD AND BRIDGE. Rebuilding the basic infrastructure in the village
•Location: Kalambayi, RD Congo.
• Needed Investment: $55,000.
• Timing: 3 months after receipt of funds.

The main road from Kalambayi to Ngandajika is about 50 miles. But it takes about a couple of days in order to reach it. Like most villages in the remote regions, the village of Kalambayi and its neighborhood is isolated from other villages, the district of Ngadajika, and the capital Mbuji Mayi. We think that we could reinforce the existing infrastructure.

We will contribute to the restoration of this bridge and enable thousands of people to use it.
You will improve the quality of life of the village.
IMPACT:
With $500 invested NVI can create 10 jobs for 2 months and clean water for 100 families.
1. Our action will leverage other sectors linked to water: schools, health care, agriculture, fishery, protection of animal and environment, hygiene, preventing and reducing tropical diseases as well as ill effects associated with poverty and unemployment: drogue, sex traffic, gangs, illegal immigration, etc.
2. Currently there is little understanding of the true value of wetlands to people living adjacent to the wetland areas, and of some of the threats to sustainable livelihoods.
3. Other entrepreneurs can carry out participatory rural appraisal, survey on birds and human conflict, various biological surveys, basic weaving training program, water quality test, national workshop on wetland bird monitoring and setting up micro-credit for the villagers living close to the site.
4.Your money will create 10 jobs.
5. Your money will keep 500 families settled in MUGNYANGA instead of going to cities already overcrowded and experiencing poverty and the consequences of unemployment: drudgery, sex trafficking, gangs, illegal immigration, etc.
6. You will assist these families in developing their communities and improving the quality of their lives.
Building and rehabilitation of bridges is a priority for facilitating the transportation and exchanges with other regions.
DIRECT IMPACT:
• We will settle the population in their environment,
• The bridge will open the village to other villages, districts and cities,
• The bridge will facilitate the export of goods to other cities,
• It will impact the development of other industries.

La NVI résume ses priorités en deux étapes:

NVI aimerait acheminer l'eau de la source depuis une vallée à pente très escarpée sur 45 minutes de marche vers MUGNYANGA, village de 250 habitants chez les Beena (quartier) ILUNGA (1,203 habitants), Mwa (groupe de quartiers) KAGNYUKA (5,000 habitants) dans la commune de Kalambayi (700,000 habitants), province du Kasaï Oriental (7 à 10 millions d'habitants) en RDC.
L'eau potable et à la portée à MUNGNYANGA améliore la qualité de la vie. C’est le premier moyen pour prévenir des pandémies.

• Objectif: combattre la pauvreté à travers l’école gratuite.
• But : scolariser chaque année 500 enfants.
• Population cible: 2,000 individus.
• 12 salles des classes de 50 (cinquante) élèves chacune.
• Nature du projet: Investissement social (“IS”) et les industries associées.
• Forme de financement: dotation, don et/ou subvention.
Après 12 mois, nous vous invitons de venir vous rendre compte du travail accompli.
Ensuite veuillez procéder de la même façon pour 2,000 familles. Si cela fonctionne, nous vous invitons de revenir et voir si vous pourriez financer 5,000 familles ou plus.
EFFET IMMEDIAT:
1. Avec un don de $50 (et si nous atteignons le budget planifié), vous nous assisté pour terminer la construction de l’école en six mois.
2. Votre contribution assiste un enfant d’aller à l’école pendant une année.
3. Votre soutien permet d’engager et de verser le salaire d’un enseignant pour un mois.
